“Nous avons passé un excellent week-end entre amis dans le Cottage. Rénové avec beaucoup de goût, couleurs modernes, esprit de chasse/château… Des détails recherchés mais pas chargés. La localisation est idéale à la fois proche de la gare, du centre ville et de la forêt. Merci pour les 4 vélos très utiles. Nous avons apprécié l’accueil chaleureux des propriétaires. Des gens généreux ! Adresse fortement recommandée.”

“The “Cottage de la Forêt” is spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything has been designed and prepared for you to stay there in the best conditions (you will for example find advice on the activities offered in the region, user manual of the various devices the house is equipped with, games, bicycles and books, etc.). We did not miss anything during our week-long stay! We felt so comfortable in the cottage that we even chose to extend our stay there! Our hosts were always available and responded very quickly to our requests. We really appreciated their friendliness and positive attitude. This was indeed the icing on the cake 🙂 ! Coming from the countryside in Norway, we found that the proximity of the train station and the road could make the surroundings a little noisy when staying outside in the garden, but we are sure this would not bother most people. We keep this address very carefully in the event of a future visit to Chantilly!”

“In a word, DREAMY. This house is absolutely gorgeous. Tastefully decorated and soooo clean! Our family’s first trip to France was made even more special by staying at Cottage de la Foret. We have runners in our family so it was perfect to be right across the street from this amazing trail that lead to a castle…seriously! It’s crazy to think that we struggled between wanting to take the train to see Paris and wanting to stay in Chantilly and enjoy this house. The town is really cute. The train is super-easy (once you get the hang of it). Caroline was a perfect host – always responsive and kind. We loved being in Chantilly and we loved this house. We hope to come back some day soon.”

“During the last years we have been frequent users of Airbnb. The Cottage de la Forêt is the best stay we have had so far. The house is very spacious, tastefully redecorated and clean. The beds are big and very comfortable. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. The location is superb – near to the railroad station (25 minutes to Paris), shops and restaurants. There is some local traffic, but no noise due to new sound-proofing windows and the walls surrounding the garden. Caroline gave a very warm welcoming and were providing us with all necessary information. Highly recommended!”

Une réactivité, et une gentillesse qui font du bien ! La maison est splendide, un bâtiment d’époque superbement rénové, le jardin tout autant, vos équipements et attentions sont présents dans chaque pièce. Nous voyageons Airbnb depuis des années, et avec vous, ça a été du 5 étoiles dans tous les domaines. L’emplacement juste à côté de la gare, à 20 min en train seulement de Paris, est une bien meilleure option à mon avis que le centre de Paris, d’autant que le rapport qualité/ prix est imbattable. Nous avons adoré visiter la ville de Chantilly, les courses, le château, une ville superbement gérée. “

“Cottage house is amazing, and exceeded our expectations by far! It’s a charming old French house that has been fully remodeled. Brand new bathrooms, kitchen, and stunning interior decoration and furniture. The house is conveniently located at walking distance from the train station and every needed facility (shops, bakery, etc). The Chantilly woods are very close allowing to go for a charming walk, and the Chantilly castle is a 25 minute walk or 5 minute drive away. There are even bikes that can be used by guests. The house is very spacious. It’s actually huge. Every room is beautifully decorated and has its own theme (think Jonathan Adler or shabby chic). The beds and mattresses are new and very comfortable. There were also premium toiletries available. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some: upscale appliances, food processors, ample cooking and dining space. We also found all essentials in the kitchen (oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, etc.). There’s enough space for 5-6 people to eat in the kitchen, and there’s also a huge dining room. There’s also a lovely yard with lounge chairs, as well as a patio table, great for evening drinks or even for dining. Lastly, our host was very helpful with information about Chantilly, and made our checkin convenient and seamless. I can definitely recommend this property – one of my best Airbnb experiences ever.”
