Everything has been designed and prepared for you to stay there in the best conditions (you will for example find advice on the activities offered in the region, user manual of the various devices the house is equipped with, games, bicycles and books, etc.). We did not miss anything during our week-long stay! We felt so comfortable in the cottage that we even chose to extend our stay there! Our hosts were always available and responded very quickly to our requests. We really appreciated their friendliness and positive attitude. This was indeed the icing on the cake \ud83d\ude42 ! Coming from the countryside in Norway, we found that the proximity of the train station and the road could make the surroundings a little noisy when staying outside in the garden, but we are sure this would not bother most people. “In a word, DREAMY. This house is absolutely gorgeous. Tastefully decorated and soooo clean! Our family\u2019s first trip to France was made even more special by staying at Cottage de la Foret. We have runners in our family so it was perfect to be right across the street from this amazing trail that lead to a castle…seriously! It\u2019s crazy to think that we struggled between wanting to take the train to see Paris and wanting to stay in Chantilly and enjoy this house. The town is really cute. The train is super-easy (once you get the hang of it). Caroline was a perfect host – always responsive and kind. We loved being in Chantilly and we loved this house. “During the last years we have been frequent users of Airbnb. The Cottage de la For\u00eat is the best stay we have had so far. The house is very spacious, tastefully redecorated and clean. The beds are big and very comfortable. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. The location is superb – near to the railroad station (25 minutes to Paris), shops and restaurants. There is some local traffic, but no noise due to new sound-proofing windows and the walls surrounding the garden. Caroline gave a very warm welcoming and were providing us with all necessary information. “Cottage house is amazing, and exceeded our expectations by far! It\u2019s a charming old French house that has been fully remodeled. Brand new bathrooms, kitchen, and stunning interior decoration and furniture. The house is conveniently located at walking distance from the train station and every needed facility (shops, bakery, etc). The Chantilly woods are very close allowing to go for a charming walk, and the Chantilly castle is a 25 minute walk or 5 minute drive away. There are even bikes that can be used by guests. The house is very spacious. It\u2019s actually huge. Every room is beautifully decorated and has its own theme (think Jonathan Adler or shabby chic). The beds and mattresses are new and very comfortable. There were also premium toiletries available. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some: upscale appliances, food processors, ample cooking and dining space. We also found all essentials in the kitchen (oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, etc.). There\u2019s enough space for 5-6 people to eat in the kitchen, and there\u2019s also a huge dining room. There\u2019s also a lovely yard with lounge chairs, as well as a patio table, great for evening drinks or even for dining. Lastly, our host was very helpful with information about Chantilly, and made our checkin convenient and seamless.
